Undergraduate student teams enrolled in a U.S. college or university are eligible to enter the National Student Solar Spectrograph Competition. The NSSSC team reserves the right to limit the number of teams.
Unfortunately, due to the rules regarding build funds provided by NASA, we are currently unable to accept international teams.
Teams Must Include
1) One faculty advisor from a college or university
2) Three to six undergraduate students (Exceptions may be made on a case by case basis by the NSSSC team)
A group of universities may work together on a spectrograph entry.
Multidisciplinary teams and collaborations between Majority and U.S. Minority Serving Institutions are encouraged.
Priority for build awards will be given to Minority Serving Institutions, Community Colleges and institutions with less aerospace activity.
